Tom Green
Tom Green is a dedicated PGA Associate and the Head Golf Professional at The Monster Golf Club at Resorts World Catskills. A veteran of the U.S. Army and a former Detective with the New York City Police Department, he brings over six years of golf industry experience, including developing instruction and play programs. Tom is a certified U.S. Kids Golf Instructor, PGA.COACH/American Development Model certified, and a PGA HOPE Instructor, focusing on growing the game for all ages and skill levels.
Tom’s teaching philosophy is built upon the idea that the swing is like a fingerprint, and no two are the same. Tom looks to optimize the players’ abilities within the framework of their natural swing.
Lex Redding
Lex started his career in 2008 after graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from SUNY Cortland. He majored in Kinesiology and minored in Sports Studies. He is a PGA Associate in good standing with the PGA of America and is working towards becoming a PGA Member with an eye towards reaching Master Professional Status in the future. He is also a PGA Coach and certified with the PGA’s American Developmental Model (ADM).
One of Lex’s strengths is player development. His philosophy is to focus on the fundamentals of the game first. His swing theory is to put the student in as many neutral positions as possible so they can develop a mechanically sound swing. His love of coaching is exemplified through his volunteer work for various youth sports organizations in the area.
Lex is a life long resident of the Hudson Valley and lives in Kerhonkson with his wife and two sons. He and his family enjoy hiking, traveling, and watching live sporting events.
Uri Jimenez, PGA
A native of Southern California, Uri has been in the golf industry for over 15 years. He has a passion for building successful teams that provide the highest quality customer service and create memorable experiences. He has been a Class A PGA member since 2019 and enjoys keeping his game sharp by playing as often as time allows.
Uri is a TPI certified instructor and his teaching and lesson plans are tailored to each individual student. He believes that there is not one way to swing a club rather an infinite number but should be based on a golfer’s physical abilities. He has a love for teaching and golf history that comes through in every lesson that he gives.
He has settled in nearby Rock Hill, NY with his beautiful wife Katharine and two dogs, Mamba and Bessie. He enjoys spending time outside, carpentry, and cooking.
