On Monday, November 1, Dawn Ciorciari, General Manager of Bold Gold
Media New York Region presented an $85,000 check to Jonathan Schiller
CEO of Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills. The check was presented
on behalf of the entire 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon Board (Left Margin), from
proceeds of the 43rd Annual 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon in February 2021.
These funds will be used for the purchase of an Echocardiogram system for
hospital.
“We are extremely grateful for the tremendous support of the 2021 98.3 WSUL
Heart-A-Thon. All of the proceeds are used to save lives right here in our
community. A very heartfelt thank you to our donors, and our community
partners Bold Gold Media, the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan,
and our 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon Committee, without whom, none of this
would be possible,” said Jonathan Schiller CEO Garnet health Medical Center
Catskills.
The 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon will celebrate its 44th year on Friday, February
11, 2022 and it will be more exciting than ever, as Resorts World Catskills
welcomes this legacy event to their facility. Robert DeSalvio, President of
Genting Americas East, which operates Resorts World Catskills, will serve as
Honorary Chairman of the event. The Sullivan Catskills Visitor’s Association
has also pledged support as a major sponsor.
“We are incredibly proud to lead this effort to provide lifesaving equipment to
our local hospital. Having Resorts World Catskills host the next 98.3 WSUL
Heart-A-Thon will bring a new excitement to this legacy community event,”
said Dawn Ciorciari, Bold Gold Media GM NY Region.
“It is a privilege to host and support the Heart-A-Thon and raise funds for
Garnet Health Medical Center- Catskills,” said Robert DeSalvio, President of
Genting Americas East, which operates Resorts World Catskills. “Investing in
the health and wellbeing of our Catskills community is an important cause and

Garnet Health meet its mission to deliver exceptional healthcare for local
