Legends of the LPGA Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament at Resorts World Catskills

Legends of the LPGA and Grateful Heart Association Announce the 2025 Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament at Resorts World Catskills this June

First Pro Golf Tournament at Re-imagined Monster, Tee Off with Local First Responders

The Legends of the LPGA and Grateful Hearts Association proudly present the 2025 Legends of the LPGA Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament, taking place June 26–28, 2025, at the iconic Resorts World Catskills Monster Golf Club in Monticello, NY.

This highly anticipated three-day event will bring together LPGA Hall of Famers, Celebrity Entertainers, and Amateur Players for an unforgettable Tournament with one shared goal: to uplift aged-out foster care youth and provide them with meaningful opportunities for a brighter future. The weekend’s festivities will also see these legends of the green pair up with first responders who serve Sullivan County and the surrounding region, honoring their commitment to keeping these communities safe.

“This will be one of the premier events of the 2025 Legends of LPGA Tour,” said Cathy Harbin, Legends of LPGA representative. “The Monster Golf Club’s legendary course and the Catskills’ summer atmosphere make this the perfect setting for an event that’s as impactful as it is exciting.”

“Resorts World Catskills is excited to welcome the first Professional Golf Tournament to the Catskills since the 1960s,” said Robert DeSalvio, President of Genting Americas East. “We are honored to partner with Legends of the LPGA and Grateful Hearts to bring this signature event to the reimagined Monster, which has become one of the most exciting new courses in the northeast. We’re so glad to play host to an event that will support young people in need as well as honor our region’s first responders.”

“This is about more than Golf,” said Kelly McMacammon of Grateful Hearts. “It’s about Community, purpose, and giving Foster Care Youth the support they deserve.”

The event will feature Celebrity emcee and three-time NFL Pro Bowler Bob Golic, who will host the Celebrity Charity Golf Dinner. “Blending the thrill of Golf with the opportunity to make a difference is truly special,” Golic shared.

Golic will be among the prominent sports and public figures taking part in the event.

The Monster Golf Club has once again become a destination in the Catskills since the historic course underwent a $40 million transformation led by architect Rees Jones. The new 7,327-yard iteration combines elements from the original Monster creating one of the most challenging yet exciting golf experiences. The 2025 Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament reflects the Catskills’ re-emergence as a golf destination, harkening back to the Borscht Belt heyday with 21st century, world-class amenities offered by Resorts World.
