Jackpot winnings at New York’s newest and closet casino total more than $34 million since February public opening
MONTICELLO, N.Y. (August 28) – The list of big money winners continues to grow at Resorts World Catskills, New York’s newest and closest integrated casino resort to Manhattan. Xian Zhao of New York City won a $413,311.31 Blazing 7s Blackjack™ Progressive jackpot.
Blazing 7s Blackjack™ Progressive is a new game based on sevens. To begin each round of play, a patron makes a standard blackjack bet and also places a Blazing 7’s progressive bet. If at least one of the first two cards dealt to the patron is a seven, the patron wins a jackpot. If both of the first two cards dealt to the patron are sevens, the patron wins a larger amount. The jackpot payout also increases if the dealer’s “up card” is a seven. The more sevens, the more you can win.

Through September 15, Resorts World Catskills is hosting its “Imagine a Million” promotion, giving guests the chance to win their share of millions of dollars in prizes each day and luxurious VIP experience packages, while one lucky winner will receive the ultimate prize on September 15 which is $1 million, guaranteed.
