RWC has been recognized as one of New York State’s go-to casinos, recently taking home seven 2023 Best in Gaming Awards from Casino Player Magazine. Opened in 2018, RWC has become a destination far beyond its gaming floor. Several venues within the resort have played home to concerts, comedy shows, banquets, conventions, and private events. These have been a draw to out-of-town gamers and vacationers as well as the Sullivan County community. Such a commitment to high-quality entertainment carries on the tradition of the “Borsch Belt,” when Sullivan and neighboring counties bustled with vacationers from the 1940s through 1970s. That tradition will only get stronger again as RWC recently wrapped up a $40 million renovation of the Monster golf course – the sprawling 18-hole course designed by the legendary Rees Jones.
