Luxury integrated resort will invite golf enthusiasts to tee up year-round with virtual golf and gaming experience
MONTICELLO, N.Y. (December 3, 2018) – Resorts World Catskills, New York’s newest and closest casino resort to Manhattan, announced today the latest luxury entertainment experience coming to the destination resort in which it is located, New York State’s first Topgolf Swing Suite. Opening in December 2018, the new virtual golf and gaming experience will be located within The Alder, a new 101-room lifestyle hotel that will make its debut at the same time.
Topgolf Swing Suite is a golf and entertainment simulator experience for players of all ages and skill levels. The 350-square-foot suite is a high-tech private space with comfortable bar seating, HDTVs, full catering and top-shelf bar service. Each of the two bays will accommodate up to eight players and offer interactive virtual golf and non-golf games, perfect for private parties and events. The Topgolf Swing Suite feature Full Swing Golf simulators, which according to Topgolf are the same as those used by PGA Tour professionals Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and Jason Day for off-course practice. Aspiring golf pros and amateurs alike will be able to hit the virtual greens all year round.

Topgolf Swing Suite will reside within The Alder, creating a distinct hospitality experience that is an extension of the existing scenic destination resort campus. The Alder will bring to life Resorts World Catskills’ commitment to integrating its natural surroundings and incorporate the outdoor beauty of the Catskills region. The hotel marks the next phase in the growth of the destination resort in which Resorts World Catskills is located and will also include a new dining concept.

The destination resort will continue its expansion in 2019 with the addition of two new offerings. The Kartrite Hotel and Indoor Waterpark is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2019, and a Rees Jones-redesigned golf course is expected to welcome players to hit the links.
