Luxury casino resort destination celebrated the opening of first ever land based Crystal Life Spa with celebrity facialist Ling Chan
MONTICELLO, N.Y. (August 17, 2018) – Resorts World Catskills, New York’s newest and closest casino resort to Manhattan, celebrated the opening of its Crystal Life Spa, offering guests a unique opportunity to experience serenity at New York’s largest integrated casino resort destination nestled in the picturesque Catskill Mountains. The casino resort is the first to bring the Crystal Life Spa, the only Feng Shui-inspired spa at sea, to land.

Crystal Spa, a Reader’s Choice Award winner by Spa Finder and Condé Nast Traveler, is designed with the principles of Feng Shui, the ancient practice of balance and harmony, creating a tranquil environment for guests to enjoy. Dream Cruises, the luxury cruise brand of Genting Cruise Lines, launched the spa experience on its Genting Dream cruise ship in October 2017.
The Crystal Life Spa at Resorts World Catskills features the best in skin, hair, and beauty products, including the premier line from aesthetician Ling Chan, a renowned facialist who has worked with celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Barbara Streisand, Renee Zellweger, Mariah Carey and Madonna. Ling’s products are developed with a holistic philosophy, merging traditional Asian beauty principles with state-of-the-art ingredients.
To mark the official grand opening of the first on-land Crystal Life Spa, Resorts World Catskills kicked off the day with a ribbon cutting ceremony with remarks from Ryan Eller, CEO of Resorts World Catskills. The full day of serenity away from the city included yoga and meditation led by Elisa Piscitelli, E-RYT, a clean eating lunch at Butterfly Beach Pool Bar, and complimentary spa treatments. The day concluded with a special speaking engagement from the celebrated skincare and holistic wellness expert Ling Chan. Ling shared her secrets of anti-aging in skincare, along with her best tips on the foundation and principles for healthy skin.
The luxury casino resort’s 8,000 square foot Crystal Life Spa features six treatment rooms as well as a wide array of eastern and western treatments. Curated treatments include massages, facials, and body treatments including scrubs and a clay-detoxifying wrap. The spa’s state of the art equipment provides guests the best in cutting edge holistic wellness treatments, including the Spa Wave by Gharieni, an award winning sound and massage system. Guests can also enjoy manicures, pedicures, hair treatments, and eyebrow shaping. Services start at $50.
To continue the celebration of the official opening and National Wellness Month, the Crystal Life Spa will be providing a mid-week relaxation special.
