Resorts World is celebrating Lunar New Year with plenty of excitement, luck, and prosperity in Orange and Sullivan counties this February. The Year of the Horse stands to be a thrilling one for Resorts World, its team members and the local community as each property has new, exciting offerings in store. As we celebrate the Year of the Horse, we honor a powerful symbol in Chinese culture representing strength, perseverance, confidence, and forward momentum. The horse embodies progress achieved through hard work and determination, always moving forward with energy and purpose.
“Resorts World is excited to bring a spectacular Lunar New Year celebration to the Catskills and Hudson Valley,” said Meghan Taylor, SVP Government Affairs & Public Relations, Genting New York. “I know the Year of the Horse will usher in plenty of prosperity and luck for our neighbors and partners throughout the region.”
That starts with the Lion Dance at Resorts World Catskills on Sunday, February 22nd at 12 p.m. For a full list of Lunar New Year promotions at Resorts World Catskills, click here.
The festivities then head to Resorts World Hudson Valley, where a Lion Dance will bless the Newburgh facility’s gaming floor, starting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 22nd. For a list of Lunar New Year promotions at Resorts World Hudson Valley, click here.
Both Resorts World Catskills and Resorts World Hudson Valley will once again sponsor the Mount Hope Chinese Association, continuing four years of partnership and support for the Orange County-based organization. The Mount Hope Chinese Association facilitates the cultural and civic participation of Chinese and Asian Americans in the community.
Through its Lunar New Year celebrations and sponsorships, Resorts World aims to foster meaningful connections with the AAPI communities across New York State, highlighting the company’s dedication to inclusivity, mutual respect, and cultural exchange.
