Award-winning comedian set to bring the laughs to RW Epicenter with double header on August 25th
MONTICELLO, N.Y. (July 17) – Resorts World Catskills, New York’s newest and closest integrated commercial casino resort to Manhattan, announced today that red-hot comedian and national sensation Sebastian Maniscalco will perform two back-to-back shows in its intimate 2,500 seat RW Epicenter on Saturday, August 25.
Constantly seizing the moment and always telling it like it is, Maniscalco, the 2016 Just For Laughs Standup Comedian of the Year, isn’t afraid to put it all out there. The Chicago native, Italian-immigrant-raised comedian behind wildly successful network specials including 2016’s “Why Would You Do That?”, 2014’s “Aren’t You Embarrassed?” and 2012’s “What’s Wrong With People?” has worked hard to earn the reputation of being that little voice within all our heads – the one we are too timid to unleash.
It’s worked well enough to earn him appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and making return visits to late-night shows like The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and CONAN. Newsday labeled Maniscalco “one of the hottest comics,” while Esquire called him “one of the funniest comics working stand-up today.” Says Maniscalco, “even though I’ve achieved some success, I will always stay hungry for more.”

In addition to world-class entertainment, the luxury destination is running the “Imagine a Million” promotion now through September 15, 2018. On top of daily and weekly prizes, four players will each win a very special VIP experience package, and one lucky winner will take home $1 million, guaranteed. The “Imagine a Million” summer promotion supports Resorts World Catskills’ position to cater to all types of players, including VIPs, and showcases its newly opened amenities this summer. The spring leg of his Stay Hungry tour featured 50 shows in cities across the US and Canada, including Montreal, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Toronto’s Air Canada Center, where he sold the arena out (19,000 tickets), culminating with 5 sold-out shows at Radio City.
