New York is one of the biggest and most diverse cities in the world. So intriguing is the situation in NYC such that locals, leave alone tourists, never seem to get enough of it. From its incredible nightlife and street foods to the beautiful skyline, the thrill here is virtually endless.
NYC is not the best place for a short visit. Deciding where to visit and what to leave out can for sure be a daunting task. But the following activities fit perfectly into one weekend in New York.
10 Visit Central Park
Central Park is by far one of the most notable places in New York, especially when approaching 59th Street. It is a three-in-one setting comprising a park, a museum, and a concert hall. It is a 693-acre of forest, gardens, and hillsides. Vacationers visiting this park come across multiple playgrounds where they can have fun. Inside the park is an ice-skating rink where beginners and experts alike go out to flex.

The Statue of Liberty is another crucial component of New York that vacationers cannot ignore. The story behind this monument in itself is part of the reasons why vacationers need to be here. Although it is nothing like Central Park, Prospect Park is a worthy consideration for vacationers visiting Brooklyn. There seems to be something special about walking in New York. In a city that is already chaotic, any chance to escape from the city center should be highly appreciated by vacationers. The High Line feels more like a walk in search of peace. It is also a great space to explore Brooklyn’s diverse skyline.

Gaming is a good way to end the New York experience. Upstate New York casinos are particularly known to serve LA-like vibes. Resorts World Catskills has specifically been identified as a good place for vacationers to hop in for a game or two. The best thing is that New York is more secure than LA, which should give vacationers more reasons to stick around.
