Darrell “Jericko” Morrison was born in Mount Vernon, New York, and raised in Yonkers, New York. He has been involved in music since 1985, working on many demos and tracks. In 1990 he was signed to Select Records, and released two singles on the label in 1995 after several years in the music industry, Morrison acquired the name Jericko.

In 1999 Jericko left Select Records and became an A&R (Artist & Repertoire) for Soul on Soul, Inc. Jericko remained with the company until he decided to move on, to pursue higher endeavors He decided to start his own management company. While in operation, Jericko went on to manage different artists from the Westchester area.

Currently, Jericko is one of the hottest DJs throughout the Tri-State area, and now goes by the monihker.
