SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced a new partnership at Saratoga Race Course with Resorts World, whose two properties in New York include Resorts World Catskills and Resorts World New York City, which unveiled a brand-new hotel on property this month in Queens: the Hyatt Regency JFK Airport at Resorts World New York.

During the current Saratoga meet, Resorts World will serve as naming rights partner for the Founders Room and Legends Hall, which are located within the new 1863 Club at Saratoga Race Course. The 1863 Club is a three-story, climate-controlled building which debuted in 2019 and features differentiated hospitality options and modern amenities.

The Resorts World Founders Room, which is connected to the Clubhouse via an open-air walkway, offers an elevated dining experience with private balconies and sweeping views of the racing action. The Resorts World Legends Hall, named for the celebrated trainers and jockeys who have made their mark at Saratoga, is a group event space which accommodates up to 100 guests.

“We are excited to expand our partnership with Resorts World, our longtime neighbor at Aqueduct Racetrack,” said Tony Allevato, NYRA Chief Revenue Officer. “We invite and encourage our fans to experience and enjoy the many amenities this summer at the Resorts World Founders Room and Resorts World Legends Hall inside the 1863 Club.”

“Racing has a long and storied history in New York and we are proud to partner with NYRA at the world-famous Saratoga Race Course,” said Meghan Taylor, Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Relations at Resorts World. “We look forward to welcoming fans to the Resorts World Founders Room where they will have a front row seat to all the racing action.”

Resorts World will present one of the summer’s most anticipated and prestigious turf races: the 47th running of the Grade 1, $750,000 Resorts World Sword Dancer on Runhappy Travers Day, Saturday, August 28.

Resorts World also served as the presenting sponsor of the Grade 1, $750,000 Resorts World Manhattan on Belmont Stakes Day at Belmont Park.

In addition to the new partnership with Saratoga Race Course, Resorts World is the official hotel provider of Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park and the 2021 Belmont Stakes.
